This page contains resources that I have compiled from my time in medical school at the University of Calgary. These include notes, CaRMS R-1 match rate analysis, and CMA specialty profile summaries. Note that .apkg files are Anki decks and .tex files are the source code I used to compile the PDF notes.

Rank Order List Builder
I created Rank Order List Builder to help medical students going through the residency match process to help them rank programs by what they value and visualizing graphs to help them choose the right program.
Match Rates
From the CaRMS website: "The Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) is national, independent, not-for-profit, fee-for-service organization that provides a fair, objective and transparent application and matching service for medical training throughout Canada." The interactive table shows national data on Canadian Medical Graduate applicants and quota in the R-1 match by disciplines (first iteration only). It was obtained from this website: carms.ca/data-reports/r1-data-reports/r-1-match-interactive-data/.
CMA Specialty Profile Summary
The data was compiled from the Canadian Medical Association: Canadian physician specialty profiles webpage. You can download an Excel version of this data by clicking this file: specialty_spreadsheet.xlsx. Please note that the Reason column is there as an example and does not represent my personal views of the specialty.
Physician Compensation
The data was compiled from the Canadian Institute for Health Information National Physician Database metadata from the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
